Abstract
In this research, the strength reduction factors in the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) format were calibrated for use in the design of Fiber Reinforced Concrete Slabs (FRCS). This work has targeted two structural applications, namely slabs-on-ground and suspended slabs. Two failure modes (flexure and punching shear) are considered in accordance with the relevant ACI design documents prepared by ACI 360 and ACI 544 committees and the ACI-318 design provisions.
