Cultural institutions strive to keep pace with the times and development using modern technology. Museums play an important role in transmitting the values of societies, spreading their heritage and customs, and linking modern generations to their past. Museums are increasingly using Information and Communication Technology ) ICTs(to reach audiences beyond their walls. ICTs in this sector have lately attracted some attention for their influence and the potential that their tools provide for promoting innovative strategies and mitigating the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic's spread. ICTs are used in almost all museum operations, both within and outside their walls, but especially in exhibition and preservation. These tools can assist in making displays and artifacts more contemporary. Furthermore, it assists museums in competing with all accessible entertainment. It also serves to draw the visitor's attention and urge him/her to visit these places. Despite recent research on the role of technology in museum development, we still have a limited grasp of the many tasks that ICTs perform for creative activities in museum exhibitions. However, the situation of museums throughout the world in employing these technologies in both online and on-site museum displays varies. Even though much of the ICT within museums in the UAE has been improved, there is still a shortage of use of ICT applications. Hence, the impetus to conduct this study, which is to review the history of the use of ICTs in general within museums. In addition to clarifying the methods of exhibition and its development using ICT applications in the museum display. This study will indeed address available ICT applications that museums might utilize and enhance to better serve their audience with technology.
